Two Serie A clubs in Milan and Napoli are reportedly interested in plotting a summer move for prolific Feyenoord striker, Santi Gimenez, who has recorded an impressive tally of 21 goals from 29 league appearances this term.

TNT Sport Mexico recently tweeted a picture of the 23-year-old in a Milan strip, along with the words: “The Rossoneri no.9 that we want to see. Santi Gimenez looks good in Milan colours.”

As per TMW’s report on Tuesday evening, there are two ‘top’ Serie A clubs in Milan and Napoli, who are both currently on the hunt for a new starting striker.

Milan will need to replace Olivier Giroud, who is set to join LAFC in MLS when his contract expires this summer, while Napoli could cash in on top goalscorer Victor Osimhen, who could fetch the club well in excess of €100m if he were to be sold.

Enticingly for both sides, Gimenez holds an Italian passport, which means that he would not occupy a valuable non-EU slot if he did move to Serie A.

According to Tuesday’s report, the Mexico international is likely to cost somewhere around the €60m mark if he were to be sold in the summer.

That may not be an issue for Napoli if they decide to cash in on Osimhen, however it is likely to be quite a high figure for Milan, who are also still interested in Bologna’s Joshua Zirkzee.
