No, the Lions are not going to trade Jameson Williams to the Chiefs for L'Jarius Sneed

That would of course be the Lions trading Jameson Williams to the Chiefs for L'Jarius Sneed. While this user doesn't say it, I would bet that he would also couple a draft pick with that move. 

Here's the thing, the Lions like Jameson Williams. They like him a lot. They like him so much that they talked about how much they like him in Indy last week. 

Lions head coach Dan Campbell talked about Williams on Tuesday and said "He is going to push to be a full-time starter" in 2024. There is just no way that the Lions are going to move on from the 22-year-old receiver that they feel good about for a 27-year old corner that they'll have to pay $19 million to this year and then work up a multi-year deal for that will cost them up to $64 million.

What they would be more apt to give up is the third-round pick that they got from the Vikings in the T.J. Hockenson trade. That's been the going rate for high end corners for the last few years. The last time a corner garnered anything higher than a third round pick was in 2019 when the Rams traded two firsts and a fourth for Jalen Ramsey. Sneed is good, but he's no Ramsey. Speaking of Ramsey, the Dolphins traded a third-round pick for him last offseason. 

The Lions are expected to be interested in Sneed and they very well could trade for him, but they're not going to send Jameson Williams away to get him.
