Bengals linebacker Logan Wilson suffered a sprained left ankle in Sunday's 16-10 loss to the Steelers.
The injury doesn't appear to be serious and he could suit up against the Jaguars this week on Monday Night Football.
It helps to have an extra day of rest before their Week 13 matchup. The 27-year-old has 89 tackles and three interceptions this season.
There's also a chance Tee Higgins (hamstring) and Cam Taylor-Britt (quad) return this week.
"We'll see what he can give us this week as it goes," Bengals head coach Zac Taylor said when asked about Higgins on Monday. "He'll continue to work with the trainers with Wednesday a bonus day (a walkthrough instead of practice). Cam Taylor-Britt fits in that category as well. We'll see how (Wilson) progresses through the week. Those three guys will all have a chance."
Higgins has missed the past three games with a hamstring injury that he suffered in practice prior to Cincinnati's matchup with Houston. Taylor-Britt had been playing through a quad injury, but he aggravated it against Baltimore and didn't suit up in Sunday's matchup with Pittsburgh.
Having Higgins, Wilson and Taylor-Britt would give the Bengals a boost against the Jaguars. Cincinnati is 5-6 on the year. They need to win a few games in a row if they're going to make the postseason for a third-straight season.
