Friday’s injury report for the San Francisco 49ers Super Bowl bye week included tight end George Kittle. Kittle suffered a toe injury during the 49ers’ win over the Detroit Lions in the NFC Championship Game.
The injury report released Friday is concerning for 49ers fans hoping to see one of the team’s best pass-catchers play against a tough Chiefs pass defense. Kittle did not participate in any of the 49ers practices this week. The team gave Kittle an “unspecified” designation for the Super Bowl.
Kittle has another week to recover from his toe injury. The 49ers would like to see Kittle be able to practice at some point next week in Las Vegas.
